When I started using Kaboodle I assumed it would be a personal tool for organizing URLs, and I was only dimly aware that I was creating a record of what had my attention at the time.
Later I found it interesting to go back and see where I had been. Did I really spend all that time researching the Japanese beckoning cat, the maneki-neko? Plainly I did. Later I found that others were viewing these records. And why not? Why not let a log that I thought to be private be a public one?
By the way I design scientific instruments for a living, and I went to art school before I went to technical school.
