I am in love with the fabulous foaming face wash. It's really gentle and I find the smell really pleasant. The eye cream is fabulous, definitely buying it again. It makes my eyes feel soft, nourished, and moisturized for hours. The face cream is perfectly fine but I'm not in love with the smell and it doesn't have that same saturated-with-moisture-without-feeling-oily-and-loaded-down feeling that the eye cream has.

I absolutely adore this stuff. It covers every blemish and makes me even without necessarily covering up freckles. It's a flawless satin finish with no heavy feeling whatsoever. Also goes on almost as well with my fingers as with a foundation brush.

As a general, daily moisturizer, this kinda blows. It doesn't feel rich and it doesn't feel like it's there for you ten minutes after you put it on. What I like it for is right before I put on my primer. It's thin and absorbs quickly so I feel like I have a dry (but still moisturized) surface to put makeup on. Helps with the no-budge.

I was looking for the absolute reddest red in the mattest finish. This red ("Classic Red") has absolutely no orange, pink, or brown undertones. It is 100% the bluest red ever. I love that. The applicator this comes with gives a lot of fallout if you're not careful. I dab a smudge brush onto the smudge applicator and that works way better for me. This is dark and dramatic and easy to get a quick smokey eye with.

Got this in the Laura Gellar Beauty Must Haves package (the one that came in the lip-shaped case). I now use the eye spackle whenever possible. I prefer it hands down over UDPP. Because it's a cream, it's a little thicker so it deposits much better. And the container isn't a ridiculous waste. I haven't had occasion to use the lip stuff because I rarely wear lipstick, but I'm definitely trying it when I find occasion. And I'm definitely buying the standalone container of eye spackle.

This line of LRP products is for sensitive skin. I can safely smooth it on morning and night without clogged pores, greasiness, irritation or heaviness. It responds well under makeup but I recommend letting it soak in for a few minutes before moving on to primer/foundation.

So the Redermic stuff is supposed to be for the over-50 crowd. But I have one deep wrinkle and several finer wrinkles right under my eyes that my makeup likes to settle into. This stuff has gone a long way toward cloaking those wrinkles and it feels very soothing. Responds well under makeup.

This thing has completely changed my life. I bought a bunch of them so I could also toss one into my travel bag, force one on Eric, have spares just in case. While I was letting the bad ridges grow out of my nails from an acrylic set, I did my own fill-ins and this thing was amazing, totally necessary and totally salon quality. I'll probably go back to acrylic in the future and I'll be glad to have this. In the meantime, it's great for everything from filing/shaping to trimming back cuticles.

This stuff is awesome. I've been letting the too-deep ridges grow out of my nails from a bad acrylic set at a salon. I've only been putting one layer on at a time (you can put on as many layers as you like) and it already makes my nails hard enough that I don't worry about them. The directions also say you can do a layer over your polish and I'm thinking that will get the longevity pretty darn close to an acrylic set.

I wouldn't ordinarily have picked this up, even though it would be so useful for my tortured hair, but I got it for free from a friend. I was thinking about using the conditioner (I use Technician on and off as a basic everyday shampoo and conditioner), too, so I'm glad to hear that you use it and love it. I'll report on this soon!

This product is amazing. Holy cow. I use it under my eyes to minimize soft wrinkle lines and on my forehead for two deep wrinkle lines. It is amazing. I had my mother-in-law try it and she went right out and got one for herself and one for my cousin. They are using it for wrinkle lines near the mouth and it keeps their lip color from bleeding. I am so glad to have learned about this in a Kaboodle Kit.

Subtle, light effect. But it works. And I was able to layer it to cover a red nose from a cold. Likely to become a staple in my makeup bag. Really good if you tend to have too much redness in your cheeks or all over your face. I think it's easier to stick to a green concealer for targeting specific blemishes.

You did recommend it and, even though it didn't work out, I value your opinion. It cleaned well and it's probably great for people who want a moisturizing feeling along with their cleanser. I now know that it doesn't sit well on my particular skin type and that's totally okay. Incidentally, I didn't do anything that would contaminate this, so if you want some for free, I could mail it to you. I feel silly just throwing it out.

I personally hate the smell of tea tree oil but it works amazingly. You can also get straight up tea tree oil and dilute it with water or use it undiluted to spot treat blemishes. I really wish it smelled better. And it smells strong so it can't even be masked well. But it's a great recommendation for people who like the smell or aren't smell sensitive.

I've also been using The Body Shop's Tea Tree face wash. It smells a little weird (I like it, but it's weird) but it seems to do a good job. I'm loving all this. I love the tingly feeling too. It really makes me feel good. For the most part I stick with the same old (cheap) stuff, but it's nice to have some new ideas and things to try, along with actual input about them. I've lived way to long with the same ol same ol tried and trusted, even if it's not all that great. I love that tingle feeling. I'll have to try that one. I've been slowly trying to switch over to anti-aging products because, at 26, my skin is already at risk. But I'm a sucker for anything with the tingle. They're usually good about not leaving gross-feeling residues which is one of my biggest skin pet peeves.

I like Neutrogena's Invigorating Daily Cleanser. It's blue and has little beads in it that are supposed to slough off dead skin. It leaves a nice little tingle (similar to Clean and Clear's cream cleanser) which I absolutely love. Leaves my skin feeling clean and not dry or too tight (a problem I've had with other Neutrogena products).

BTW, just checked out the reviews at MUA and, by and large, they say it's expensive to maintain (because you're supposed to buy the pads that work with it, but someone did mention using off-brand pads) and it's mostly gimmicky and disappointing. I'm pretty obsessive about noticing small differences, so I noticed a change within three days. Realistically, a week is all it takes to start noticing a change. I've been doing acrylic nails for a while and I just took them off to give my nails a breather, so I may have to figure out where the heck I put this and try it again! Isn't it great? I like how it makes my skin feel but I do find that I have to scrub harder to get all of my mascara/eyeliner off, which is why I only use it when traveling. I also like to stick it on a baby wipe so it feels gentler and I don't feel like I'm killing my eyes. But so great on the face and yo definitely can't beat the price!

I've never tried curling my lashes after applying mascara. Lash curlers are terrifying enough on their own. Mamor's point is great, but if you don't have stick straight lashes you probably don't need to curl them after you apply this because of the amazing curl it gives all on its own. My lashes have reasonable curl on their own so I've never even needed to curl them before using this, either, unlike with stuff like Bad Gal. I'm curious whether setting it with powder would help with the stickiness if you curl them afterward, though.

So I picked this up for $30 at TJ Maxx to try to use it to cheat at fingerwaves. I haven't tried that at all yet, but I still love this thing. It's as time consuming as any other styling tool but I wore my hair waved for a week before I decided it was time to stop pushing my luck. I use this when I don't need total all day and all night coverage, but it actually gives me that, anyway. It's the perfect price for not worrying about losing it when I'm traveling. It provides excellent lash separation and very decent coverage.

Very cheap and has never flaked on me. (Their waterproof line always flakes on me, fyi.) I use the black almost every day and I have a couple of the colors for funkier looks. I like the brush way better than the one that comes in MAC Liquidlast, which is too thin for me. The WnW brush is thin enough to get reasonable precision and thick enough that it doesn't take forever to apply it.

I use this trio on a regular basis. The black is highly pigmented and the gray blends the black well but the white could have a bit more impact (though I usually apply it dry as a highlight). I love NYX eyeshadow colors. What you see is exactly what you get. I plan on buying pretty much every single color they make.

This is an excellent value. The tweezers and sponge brush are crappy, but I suppose they'd do in an emergency. The colors are amazing and smooth and blendable. You do need a light touch if you don't want dramatic eyebrows, though.

I just bought Iconic (which isn't waterproof, just smudgeproof, btw) and it is freaking fabulous! It makes your eyelashes stand up and just, damn, you know? Iconic can also be used as a base/primer for mascara. I would buy Iconic right away and ask one of the makeup specialists to put some Iconic on you and layer some Black Out over it and wear it home and see how it does. You can always buy the Black Out later, but I'd bet it's going to smudge on you without a primer to set it in place.

I really do like it, but I will say that it is significantly easier to use on one eyebrow than the other. I like to come at the hairs from the outside in and you can't switch directions. Now I have to do a thing where I use an eyebrow brush to hold the hair on my left eyebrow up and in place so I can trim that eyebrow from the inside out. The right I can trim from the outside in exactly like I like to.

This smudged on me too, so I feel your pain. The waterproof one was a little better and the limited edition DiorShow (called Iconic) is my favorite and doesn't smudge at all.

So, when gunk actually comes out of your mouth after you rinse after you've already brushed your teeth (and spit out all the gunk along with your toothpaste), it's pretty awesome. But I find this rarely happens. If you just want to use it for gross factor, use it before you brush.

Much smoother than cheap drugstore eyeliners. Also smoother than other pigmented pencil liners (like Kryolan). Except for Blue Jean, which is kinda nightmarish to get on smoothly unless you give it a really good go with the blow dryer.

So I tried this stuff again and it did work a lot better. I was using it in combination with bleach on my roots only. I used 40% more than it said to use initially. (I made one ounce of bleach mixture and added nine drops instead of the prescribed five.) Again, boy did it smell icky. But it lightened my roots from dark brown to light yellow with no brassy undertones in 50 minutes (without heat). It was difficult to get a picture that showed that it wasn't brassy, but here's the best picture I got:

This is my first time using a mineral powder foundation, so I only have other powders, liquids and creams to compare it to. That said, it had nice, sheer coverage and gave me a perfect matte look without completely covering up all of my freckles (though I suppose I could cover them with it if I wanted to). It also didn't make me look flaky or cakey on my dry areas and cooperated really well with my other face prepping products. I really like it.

So far, so good. It almost tickled going on, but it went on evenly and was slightly tingly in a good way and it set my makeup well. I didn't feel the need for an eye makeup touch-up at all and I didn't need a face touch-up until the end of the day, when my oily t-zone started to act up. It was time for me to take my makeup off, anyway, so I'll report back when I use it for an out-all-night kind of thing.

So I have now tried this once, according to the instructions, in my bleach. It smelled a little funny and didn't do much to lift brassy undertones. The directions say you can add more if the prescribed amount doesn't work, so I'll be trying it that way next time before I write this stuff off.
