This is a good little gadget which allows for the multi use of a single monitor, keyboard, mouse, & speakers for up to four source computers. In other words, you can wire your docking station for your laptop into the same screen as your desktop. Then there is still room for an external media center and a home network server. This set includes all the wires and an easy switch interface in a compact little shell. You can find a KVM switch for cheaper if you don't need USB & Phono functionality for more than one of the computers, but this one does it all and can be yours for around $40-$60 on eBay.
