This item is made to order. Order may take up to 2 weeks to complete due to the complexity of this style. This is the first in the Artisan Clutch collection. My goal was to create a more functional purse, while still maintain the whimsy of my other pieces. This purse is inspired by the Japanese folktale, and where my shop name comes from, The Crane Wife. The purse is made of metallic silver leather. The accents are in metallic red leather, and matte black leather. The purse has a layer of mid-weight fusing to give structure. The interior is lined in polyster satin. The flap of the clutch is the crane's wing covered with 2-ply leather feathers, all individually handcut so that each purse will be unique. Feathers are stitched down along the top edge of each feather to create a heavenly texture. On the front body is the head of the crane, which has a slight layer of foam for added dimension.
