Gathered black chiffon panels separate the velvet panels on top -- and more black chiffon is gathered behind the eight antique star-flowers. The star-flowers are vintage black velvet with gold stitching. The fringe is a bronze silky fringe -- Over the top of the bronze fringe is an amazing vintage trim with drape top. This shade will fit a floor lamp 60" tall or taller. It would be the ultimate shade for a turn of the century wooden lamp. Could also be used on a large table lamp. This is a large lampshade that is perfect for a large wooden floor lamp or large table lamp. This unique lampshade is 26" across the bottom. It lights up beautifully with light coming through the fabric and plenty of light cast downward for reading or lighting your room. This is an original Victorian Lampshade from Vintage Shades. This shade was hand-made by us in our studio in the US. This amazing shade is made from a bronze / gold and black burn-out silk velvet. The fabric in the lower panels is a bronze diamond pattern with small beads attached to the fabric. The trim and fringe matches the bronze in the fabric. This is a very unique lampshade. Matching tassel trim is used over the longer background fringe. It is lined inside with silk -- the finest fabrics and trims have been used in making this beautiful piece. This lampshade is called a Large Crown. It has a 4" top opening and is 19" across the bottom. Overall height with the fringe is about 18". Great size for a floor lamp or large table lamp. Found in Aspen Colorado~ A beautiful pair of small lamps made from all natural crystal and amathyst quartz. They are shaped like swans. The piping is starting to age with a green patina. Each lamp measures 16 inches tall. The bases measure 8 inches long x 6 inches wide. The solid crystal and amethyst shades measure 4 x 4 and hold one small bulb. When turned on the glow is soft not bright. Each is marked with a metal label that reads McCoy Designs. The wiring is in very good condition. I estimate this pair to be approx. 20 years old. The top of the plinth with gilt dots. This is now the second pair of these candlestick that I have owned. The only other that I know was a pair owned by Brian Haughton who wrote thus, "Although the heraldic griffin can be found as a support for elaborate vase forms or urns and in some cases a scalded down version can be found as a finial, the use as an incorporated form within a candlestick is highly unusual and of the greatest rarity, creating a highly exotic form for the lavish Regency interior."
