Bruno Traverso hollowbody guitar, completly hand made. Flamed maple top in satin finish, mahogany back and neck, ebony "modern" fingerboard. A fantastic hand made guitar extremely resonant and comfortable to play. The pickups are two custom Mama vintage humbuckers. The selector is a "kill switch". No matter the pick up selection you have choose to play with, if you activate it you immediatly go to the bridge pickup for full shred. It is a brighty and airy sounding guitar due to the fact that the woods are free to sing not being closed by paint work. Nevertheless she's very versatile instrument, she perfectly suits rock and she's absolutly proper for jazz. She has that cool-aggressive and fast tone you search for bebop runs, superlocrian licks and dreamy chorused chords. Not the closed and muddy tone "a la" 175 good for Jim Hall stuff. She's more on the Jimmy Rainey side. Just add a 1965 Fender Twin with the treble control a little bit closed to go to Jazz Heaven. A gem. Impossible to sell. I am the guy in the picture. I was playing the guitar at a recording session. it was standards time, probably I was playing Stella by Starlight one of my favourites.
