(05/21/08) What a huge week. We had a wedding here and it was a house full of people. Now that things have settled down a bit, it's time to create again! This piece is HUGE and full of wonderful charms. I started with photo charms of pirates each covered in a protective finish so they will last a lifetime. The focal point is a stunning square natural green/yellow stone bead set in a sterling setting. There are two clay peruvian skull beads, some fun nautical charms, a large sword charm, a bnch of little round agate beads and four large round stabalizied turquoise beads. The charms are in sterling plated and black gunmetal for a real pirate look. I added some little black glass beads, some beads that were called evil eye beads but I think they look like a port hole on a ship so I added those and some vintage jewelry pieces adn the large silver plated ball beads. The chain is 8 1/4" long with an adjustable lobster claw clasp. Feel free to email me with any questions, Carrie. See less
