She'd sit and watch the water and the boats for hours, as my sister and I looked for sand dollars and seaglass and swam in the insanely cold water. I loved the bits of glass worn smooth by years of wear in the ocean. Now, when I return to Maine with my own kids, I can't quite make myself get in that water, but I do still look for seaglass. This is a piece I found on one of those trips. I really need to make more of these! This ring is a size 7, and is made of 14k recycled gold. See less

I've set it low on the band so it's very easy to wear (not likely to get caught on things like a taller ring might). All of the silver used in this ring's construction is from recycled sources. Besides making a bold impact on its own, this ring is also beautiful worn stacked with others.
