And hangs in a fine silvertone metal chain. A real eyecatching piece. It is very lightweight because the butterfly is actually paper. Paper? Is that safe to wear? Well yes. I sealed the paper so it is waterproof. Ok, you shouldn't shower with it and it is very delicate so sleeping with it also isn't a very good idea. The size of the butterfly is: 5.6 cm - 2.2 inches 3.7 cm - 1.5 inches Length of necklace (including the butterfly and clasp) 47 cm - 18.5 inches At the moment this is the only one like this but it can be remade so it might become a limited edition :) See less
