(08/13/10) Still my favorite classic leather slippers - the rich soft leater that expands if necessary for a slightly wider foot. I would like to see a "tricot" lining, that is a non-leather lining (at least the inner sole) as if you wear your slippers often for any great length of time, your foot sweat may lead to the slipper sticking a bit to your bare soles. (Note: I am not a "heavy sweat-er.") But these are still my favorites! The only real competitor are Church's of England leather slippers, which are also made with fine soft leather (unlike Draper's of England). Brooks Brothers: Are you aware that many of the leather Church's slippers are lined with a "cloth" material, But beware: some of their slippers are lined with a felt-like material which tend to become worn quickly or the felt ripples with wear. 1 of 1 found this review helpful.
