Stay on These Roads, released in 1988, is a-ha's third full-length album. The material is in a synth pop musical style. Ten tracks are contained. The songwriting is satisfying, the musicianship is taut, and the sound quality is worthy. Morten Harket does not disappoint; he is a talented singer. The keyboard work is also enjoyable. The music is atmospheric, stately, and refined. As for favorite songs, those are "Stay on These Roads," "The Blood That Moves the Body," "Touchy!," and "The Living Daylights." The somber "Stay on These Roads" provides attractive keyboard melodies and vocals from Harket that are industrious, soaring, and melancholic. The dynamic "The Blood That Moves the Body" supplies sleek harmony vocals. The sprightly, fun "Touchy!" exhibits smooth falsettos from Harket, a nice bass line, and a pleasing, sudden, in-your-face beginning.
