Picking a make should therefore center on their needs, value of the purchase and, to a lesser extent, their wants. If there're still difficulties, bear in mind that there's never going to be a perfect camera. Like everything else, it's really a matter of tradeoffs. Before the various fan boys jump in to tout brand C over brand N, let's be honest, in this age of globalization it makes no monetary sense to be brand loyal. Unless you've significantly invested in a manufacturer's system (lenses and accessories), which the majority of you aren't, you don't gain anything by sticking to any vendor.
