The way I have sewn them onto the ribbon the hands can also be adjusted a little from side to side so it is comfortable for the wearer. The back of the necklace closes with silver plated chain and lobster clasp. The choker measures 13 inches around the neck with a 4 inch extender chain. The extender dangles down the back weighted by a little Swarovski crystal embellishment cuz you really have too :) The collar is very light and adjustable so dancing or prowling will not be a problem! This necklace features a fat fuse with curled wire inside that I picked up in Akihabara, Tokyo. Capped on either end are some steampunky little components with screw in parts. I've hammered in three silver spheres to a hand-finished cuboid of Tasmanian Oak and suspended the fuse with small chain. This necklace would look great with steampunk, gothic, sci-fi or geek outfits. The pendant is suspended on two chains that meet at two silver 'wings' (harvested from a gent's watch band) at the collarbone. The chain is approx 45cm long. A little freshwater pearl ornaments the end. The pendant is 5.5cm at longest point across and falls approx 2.5cm in height. Please note that the hardware is vintage and thus has signs of wear. This is part of its history and charm. This is an original InSectus design. I only have a couple of the fuses, so there won't be many necklaces made.
