- What is the $1,000 Ultimate Summer Look Giveaway?
Kaboodle invites you to show off your summer style for the chance to win a $1,000 AMEX gift card. Beginning July 1, 2009, 11:59 a.m. (PT) through July 29, 2009, 12:00 p.m. (PT), if you create a styleboard to showcase your favorite summer look you are entered to win. See Official Rules for details. - What is the prize?
One (1) grand prize winner will receive a $1,000 AMEX Gift Card. See the Official Rules for details. - How long is the giveaway period?
The $1,000 Ultimate Summer Look Giveaway will run for four (4) weeks, beginning July 1, 2009, 11:59 a.m. (PT) through July 29, 2009, 12:00 p.m. (PT). - How will the winner be selected?
One (1) grand prize winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries after the giveaway period ends. - Do I have to register on Kaboodle to enter?
Yes. Only registered Kaboodle members will be able to participate. If you haven't signed up for Kaboodle yet, join free now! - Is it free to enter the giveaway?
Yes. It's absolutely free to enter the giveaway. - How will the winner be notified?
The winner will be notified via the email address associated with the winner's Kaboodle account. The winner will have five (5) days to respond to claim the prize. Make sure your email address is up to date so you don't miss out!

- How do I enter?
To enter you must create and publish a Kaboodle styleboard directly from the . - How do I create a styleboard?
To create a styleboard, use the Styleboard Editor, which allows you to select and group together items from around Kaboodle and your Kaboodle lists. You can even upload your own images. - How do I publish my styleboard?
Click the "Publish" button above the canvas area. You can enter in a title and description and select a category, then click "Save." - How many styleboards can I create? Will they all be eligible as entries?
You can create as many styleboards as you want! Regardless of how many styleboards you create, you will only be entered once for this giveaway.
Answers - Using the Styleboard Editor
- How do I use the Styleboard Editor?
The Styleboard Editor has two main areas, the Canvas on the left side and the Control Panel on the right side. Simply drag items from the Control Panel over to the Canvas. Once the items are on your canvas, you can reorganize them by dragging them around. You can also resize them by dragging on the small squares at each corner.
There are various other image sources you can use when designing your styleboard. The right side of your styleboard page contains the following tabs showcasing products:- "My Lists": Contains any items you have recently added to your wish list or other lists.
- "Backgrounds": You can add a different background by clicking on the desired background. To add a border, click a selected color and then click a border design.
- "Graphics": To add a sticker graphic, click a selected color, click on a sticker and then drag the sticker over to the canvas.
- How do I upload an image?
To upload an image, simply click the "Upload" button. A popup will appear allowing you to browse for a file to upload. Once you have selected a file, click "Upload Image." - How many products do I have to add in order to qualify?
You can add as many products to your styleboard as you like. - How do I edit my styleboard?
You can save your styleboard as a draft or publish it and return to continue working on it at a later time. To access your styleboards go to the "Styleboards" tab on your Kaboodle profile. From there you can edit your published styleboards and drafts by clicking on the "Edit" button.
Top Entries
- What are "Top Entries"?
Every Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. (PT) throughout the promotional period (Beginning July 1, 2009, 11:59 a.m. (PT) through July 29, 2009, 12:00 p.m. (PT)), the styleboard that has received the most hearts for the week will be selected as the Top Entry. Each week's top entry will be showcased in our Buzz Kit blog and other promotional areas throughout the site. Want to know if you are in the running this week? Check This Week's Top Entries. - What is the "This Week's Top Entries" page?
The This Week's Top Entries page showcases the current top 10 most hearted styleboards for the week. Want to see your styleboard on This Week's Top Entries page? Get more votes! - How do I get more hearts/votes on my styleboard?
While Kaboodlers may stumble upon your board and vote for it, a more proactive plan is to get people to vote for your styleboard by sharing it with them. On the right side of your styleboard, you have a few sharing options. You can:- Grab the widget code or link and post it on your website, blog, or social networking sites.
- Share your styleboard with members of the community through the "Share" feature.
- Post your styleboard to your Facebook page.
- Share your styleboard on MySpace.
Restrictions
- Can anyone enter the giveaway?
Anyone can participate, but you must live in the continental United States and be at least 13 years of age to be eligible to win. See the Official Rules for details.
