Thanks for all the encouragement over the past few days…its made me feel better about my decision not to post every single day So, I had read the book Heat by Bill Buford and found it to be a fascinating read. Ok…truth be told, I was far more fascinated by his time learning cooking skillz than when he went to Tuscany to become a butcher, but that is neither here nor there for this article. One very interesting recurring theme from the book is how in order to understand how to make fresh pasta is to go to Italy and watch Italian women make pasta. Well, though Steph and I seriously are discussing going to Italy at some point (and yes, take some cooking classes), we aren’t going to get there for a bit.
