These 16mm round silver beads feature an embossed daisy in the centre, surrounded by textured dimples. They were handcrafted by the Karen Hill Tribe community in Thailand and are 99.9% silver. Workmanship is superior and it is purchased through a Fair Trade Approved supplier. Dangling from each silver bead are two facetted labradorite rondelles. Labradorite is always more beautiful than it photographs as it reflects the cool tones of the light that touches it. You can often see flashes of blue, green, violet and grey, making it a very versatile wardrobe accessory! Labradorite was first found in Labrador, Canada in the 18th century. The journal is hand bound using a variation of the centuries old, longstitch binding technique. Inside the papers are divided into 6 separate signatures or packets which are each hand sewn securely to the spine of the journal with complimenting thread. The leather cover is held closed with leather ties finished with glass beads.
