¾ cup poppy seed 3 teaspoons baking powder ¾ cup warm milk 5 egg whites or 5 Tbsp. egg white powder 1 ½ cups sugar dissolved in 1 cup plus 1 ½ Tbsp. water 3 cups flour ½ teaspoon vanilla Preheat oven to 350 degrees, soak poppy seeds in warm milk for several hours. Cream sugar and butter thoroughly; and sifted baking powder; add vanilla. Add stiffly beaten Egg whites. Bake in 2 - 10 inch by 2 inch deep pans until done. CARROT-PINEAPPLE CAKE 6 cups all purpose flour 4 cups granulated sugar 4 teaspoons baking powder 4 teaspoons baking soda 4 teaspoons cinnamon 2 teaspoons salt 2-2/3 cups crushed pineapple with juice 2 cups oil 8 eggs 4 cups grated carrot 4 teaspoons vanilla 2 cups walnut pieces Place all ingredients in bowl in order given through oil. Mix well. Beat in eggs. Add carrot, vanilla and walnuts and beat 2 minutes. Pour into pans filling about 2/3 full. Bake at 350 F until done. This cake does not raise well so be sure to fill your pan. They showed shots of your fun wedding in September at Hard Rock and a collage of some cakes you are famous for! I was excited to see a version of the cake you created for me flash on the TV screen! No one expected a wedding cake like ours not even us! Everyone still talks about how delicious the cake was and how it captured the spirit of Vegas! I cannot Thank You enough!
