The focal point is a large czech glass spider button and hanging below it is a huge silver plated cross. The beads are purple and the black beads glow in the dark. The little pvc figure characters are taken from the movie and the whole thing sits on an 8 1/4 inch silver plated chain that is fully adjustable due to the little lobster claw clasp. What a huge week. We had a wedding here and it was a house full of people. Now that things have settled down a bit, it's time to create again! This piece is HUGE and full of wonderful charms. I started with photo charms of pirates each covered in a protective finish so they will last a lifetime. The focal point is a stunning square natural green/yellow stone bead set in a sterling setting. There are two clay peruvian skull beads, some fun nautical charms, a large sword charm, a bnch of little round agate beads and four large round stabalizied turquoise beads. The charms are in sterling plated and black gunmetal for a real pirate look. I added some little black glass beads, some beads that were called evil eye beads but I think they look like a port hole on a ship so I added those and some vintage jewelry pieces adn the large silver plated ball beads. Desperate thieves would stab the miners in the back with sharpened coathangers, or wrap them in tires and set them on fire. That's what I see in the glimmer of every shiny rock in jewelery store windows and flashing on a bride-to-be's finger. I promise, no one was harmed or killed in the making of these buttons. Recycled pages from a damaged book yielded the images for these paper diamonds. You'll get two at random from this selection of pink, gold / yellow, orange, green and blue. See less
