Make a connection with history of art and culture by wearing my own version of this timeless symbol! The drawings contained in each of these pendants are reductions of my own original pen, ink and watercolor illustrations, inspired by the etchings of Victorian naturalists. Every piece comes with a keepsake information card that tells you more about each animal, and is signed and numbered. [An intaglio is a reverse cameo, the image is carved on the back so it can be seen through the crystal.] These earrings are gorgeous, the crystals sparkle with every move, and their antique-finished components give them an exquisite vintage look. They'd be perfect for a bride, or a formal outfit. They measure 8 cm (3 inches) long including the earwire. I haven't been able to locate any more of those intaglios so these earrings are one of a kind. Please note that both intaglios are facing to the left, and that they are in fact vintage. A tiny antique glass vial, originally used to store pocket watch parts, has been filled with amethyst chips and strung on a goldtone chain. The vial's cork is still marked with the original hand-numbering, 16. The vial measures approximately 1.5" in height, and 0.25" in diameter. It hangs on a 15" chain, designed to sit just below the collarbone. The chain closes with a lobster clasp in back. If you would like a different length chain, just ask! This is my take on the classic cameo. The White Rabbit in silhouette form. The image is set into a silver plated locket under a glass cap for a high quality and enduring finish. The locket itself is around 3cm tall and very detailed on both front and back. The locket opens to reveal even more decoration and space for two photographs or a secret treasure. The locket hangs from a silver plated spring bail and is strung on a 22 inch silver plated watch-chain style necklace (the White Rabbit's watch chain, of course). The chain fastens with a silver plated trigger clasp. Hanging next to the clasp is a tiny glass and silver plate Mymble's Daughter crow charm. Lenses are greenish-yellow tinted to shield from sun, wind and glare. Cotton tie straps are non-elasticized. Comes complete with a storage tin for protection in the off season. The industrious individual can strip the black paint to reveal a bright brass finish, as shown in the alternate view. We used a dremel tool with a brass brush, and it made quick work of the black paint. Please note: these goggles are genuine military surplus, so the storage tins are aged and a bit dented. The goggles may have minor blemishes, but are fully functional with unmarred lenses. Not intended for use as safety goggles. See less
