(01/28/10) As a kid, I always had my head in the clouds. What's more, as a young, aspiring meteorologist, my daydreams were often about clouds. I loved reading about the science behind weather, and for years wanted to be a meteorologist when I grew up. I avidly followed storm news coverage, watched "Twister" at least ten times, and would flop onto my back in my front yard and try identifying the types of clouds that drifted by. I think I would have collapsed in a heap of love had I seen this skirt back then — with its puffy bubble hem and pitch-black color, this skirt has all the ingredients for a perfect storm cloud. Its voluminous shape billows out in the most magnificent way, and is lovingly cinched at the waist by a black grosgrain ribbon. Plus, its light, 100% cotton construction makes it as light as a cloud.
