Just like you stepped out of the 1940's ! We took our inspiration for this dress from a late 1940's dress. This dress will take you ANYWHERE! The luxurious heavy weight washed silk charmeuse fabric is glamourous enough for every season. The shoulders have keyhole gathered openings with dramatically draped sleeves. The front and back both cross over for a dramatic, but easy fit. The silk crepe waist section has ties that can wrap around the body and be tied in many different ways to suit a variety of body shapes and give subtle contrast. This skirt was borrowed from our "Amanda Dress" style and combines both bias and straight cut sections for a sleek but dramatic fit. This dress is a heavier weight silk than the darker colors of the Obi dress however, for modesty, you may wish to wear a slip or suitable undergarments with this lighter version.
