Fantastic, sturdy vacuum cleaner with great suction. We were amazed at how much dirt this vacuum removed from our carpeting, and this was shortly after we had already used our old vacuum. The only setbacks are the weight of the vacuum, most of which is on the handle (so we feel it mainly when we tilt the handle back) and the need to replace the filter periodically. These setbacks are a small price to pay for great performance, however. This vacuum also has a very long hose, which is great for our stairs. Contrary to what a prior poster said, the small screw for the handle is long enough to attach to handle's two sections, even though it may not appear to be long enough at first glance.
