In the 1930s, talking movies were all the rage. Many actors and actresses made the transition from the "Silent Movie Era" of the late 1800s into the early 1920s.
Hollywood Movie Studios were producing a complete movie every week. They were usually 6 reels and 60 to 70 minutes long. Black and White.
These movies were called "B" Movies. They were advertised extensively. Lobby Cards, Studio Stills, Posters (of different sizes) were all used in the Lobbies of Movie Theatres.
Studio Stills of the 1930s are what I collect and sell.
