I set it to 107.9 on day one, have only ever had to change stations once, and that was during an out-of-state roadtrip. Sound quality is pretty good, much better than I had expected after reading all the horror stories on these things, no static whatsoever once I got the station dialed in. Cons: I have an iPod Touch and the biggest clear plastic holster that this product comes with (it comes with a few to fit the various iPod models) is a VERY tight fit with it, width-wise. So tight that the Touch will actually scratch the sides of the holster. Other Thoughts: If it wasnt for the ultra-tight fit with my iPod Touch, I would have given this product 5 eggs. But it's a bit unnerving when every time you insert and remove your iPod, you're scratching the hell out of the product. I havent developed any scratches on the iPod itself, but who knows if... Cons: Stay away from this drive if you value your data. This hunk of junk happily corrupted 100G of important info that was supposed to be *backed up* to it. Copy your data to it and wait for the Fantom to come and make it all magically disappear. It crashed explorer multiple times on multiple machines. Constantly caused write delay failures when trying to read data from it. Never before has a single product caused such a headache. Used the eSATA and USB interfaces with the same result. Other Thoughts: It is possible the hard drive in this thing is the culprit. It shows a Western Digital drive when discovered. Regardless, the Fantom name only means one thing to me, NO MORE DATA! Unfortunetly this fine piece of equipment finally died on me after a little over a year of use. I used this headset for gaming, watching movies, and listening to music. This thing is very durable I was constantly rolling over the cord with my swivel chair and it would get caught in the wheels and I would expect it to ruin it every time but it never did. The sound quality is amazing, I bought another logitech headset as a temporary replacement for about the same price and the quality difference is amazing. This headset lasted me longer than any other headset I've had and I plan to buy it again. I can also wear this thing for hours at a time, yes after a while it does get to you but hey you shouldn't stay on your computer that long at one time anyway right. If it starts to bother... Instead of having 3 different external adapters for hard drives (Desktop IDE, Laptop IDE, and SATA) which take up a lot of space in my work area, I now have one little adapter to do it all. Cons: Could not get the Laptop IDE connection to work unless I plugged an extra adapter I happened to have that also provides power. There is also little to no room for any kind of power adapter (I had to bend mine to make it fit) for the Laptop IDE. The adapter to go from Molex to SATA power also came apart already.
