Lighthearted tips for light green living (A website for grownups)



I've lived in California, Illinois, Iowa, Virginia; Panama, Kazakhstan, and Brazil. I've travelled in at least half the states of the U.S., as well as to Canada, Mexico, Peru, the Dominican Republic, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Germany, Turkey, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, & Thailand. Married since 1994. Have 2 terrific kids, a daughter and a son (born 2003 and 2005). Had 2 cats who traveled with us to 4 countries (no longer with us, sad to say). Work experience includes: property management, biochem research, database design & management, account management, international training program coordinator, community outreach organizer. Some hobbies & activities are listed among my personal tags. Others, past & present, include: theater (both as an actoid & as a techie), playing flute, competitive swimming (breaststroke), cautious skiing, cross-stitch, creative cooking (partly from necessity), snorkeling & SCUBA diving.
