You can NOT open the bottle and remove the shells. The shells make a soft sound, as if you can hear the ocean. Perfect for the ones who miss the ocean! The bottle is 2'' (5cm) including the loop, the ball chain is 17'' (43cm) with an extension of 4'' (10cm). All metal is nickle and lead free.
