I think this is an awesome idea. People usually have a hard time figuring out what to get me for special occasions. Normally when I'm asked I will only have a couple of things in mind, or nothing at all. A lot of times I don't want to say anything because I'd rather not impose a price. I really think gifts from my friends shouldn't be more than $10 and if a group gets together to buy one thing that's really cool too.

Don't waste any time on the guessing game, I know of lots of things that I would like to have, I just can never seem to think of all of them at once when I'm asked... so I made up lists. I will add on stuff once in a while, when I think of something I'd like to have and I know I'll use. I just figured after a while, it'll turn into a huge list of everything I could ever wish for the next 10 years or so.

Keep in mind this is nothing like a registry. You can very well get a clue of the type of things I'm into and figure out a great way to come up with a surprise! Now isn't that a great idea? I really think you should sign up and make a list too. :)
