When I first started I knew very little about the hardware behind robotics, and only a little bit behind the software. So, really, if I can do it, so can you! :) I'll separate the building of a WiMo into a few sections. If this is your first time experimenting with electronics and robots, you'll definitely want to check out the books that i read, otherwise, the next sections will be on how to actually build WiMo. There are 2 WiMos that I have tutorials on. WiMo II and the WiMo NXT. WiMo II requires soldering and is a bit more of a "do-it-yourself" type of project. I have pretty detailed instructions on how to build WiMo II, but you should be willing to get a little "dirty" (ok, not too dirty). WiMo NXT uses the new Lego Mindstorms NXT set.
