W00t, w00t!  I finally bit the bullet and bought a new computer.  My old desktop at home died.  *sniff*  I'd been using my work laptop for the past several months, which isn't exactly optimal.  I'm not going to illegally download music on a work computer.  Heh.

I kept going back and forth between a new desktop and a new laptop.  Should I switch to Macs?  Decisions, decisions.  After a little bit of thought and the realisation that I didn't want to spend a ton of money, I decided on the little Dell Inspiron Mini 9.

Look how cute it is!  It's 2.3 pounds, smaller than a hardback...

I finally got my 10" eeePC! It's a bit chubby, but overall works well as a notepad and the battery life is decent at 4-5 hours with wifi/bluetooth enabled.

Pros 5 hour battery life Great for bringing along to do comparison shopping AC adaptor is small and travel size, now it just needs a windup cord Cons Suspend and resume doesn't seem to work consistently, save your work before you put it to sleep Screen resolution is a bit small to be really useful for business Placement of right shift key for special people Update - Sep-21
One of the frustrating things about trying to...

It's been a month and I still haven't figured out what I should get for my boyfriend for our two-year anniversary. It's so hard shopping for a guy especially since time is running out. The idea of making something very sweet and sentimental has been dancing in my mind for quite awhile, but I haven't had a jolt of inspiration to get the ball rolling yet. Creativity doesn't seem to come me under pressure ironically. It's also my fault for procrastinating and being lazy about it. I just thought "I'll come up with something awesome", but that awesomeness never came to fruition. So now I'm stuck...

I never thought I would be one of those peoples who lives off a electronic device. I'm not sure how I envisioned growing up with technology but it's gotten to the point where I don't go anywhere without my work issued Blackberry and until recently, my personal cellphone. As my cellphone contract was ending, I decided to trade them both in for one device. I thought about the iphone, but I've heard, AT&T sucks in New York. I've had Verizon for almost forever without a problem, so I stuck with it.

I chose the Blackberry 8830 World Edition in red, the one everybody and their mothers...

Rants & Raves

With our two-year contract about up and my old phone starting to break, I went out with my mom and dad to look into renewing our contract and getting new phones. Verizon was going to give my family $150 for a free phone, plus whatever free phones come with that. I really wanted the Blackberry Pearl in pink but the girl at the store said that you had to get a minimum Blackberry plan for e-mail and the internet. I just wanted it because it was cute. Since I am going to school right now and not working much, my dad has been fronting my bills for me and he was very adamant about telling me that he...

If you know me even a little bit, you know that I love Guitar Hero. To the point of obsession. If Guitar Hero were an actual person it would have gotten a restraining order against me long ago.

I have been so busy with school lately I didn't know that Nintendo made a limited edition Guitar Hero DS that comes with Guitar Hero: On Tour, but my mother did and that's what I got for my birthday. Of course, I was excited (hence the new profile picture).

The only real complaint is that they could have picked much cooler songs for the game. Who has really listened to Smash Mouth...
