Manish Chandra, Chief Executive Officer & Founder

Our fearless leader, Manish is both boss and idea guy. He's the consummate visionary, thinking up about sixteen new ideas for Kaboodle a day. He pushes us to do more for Kaboodle - faster, better, and on a budget (forgoing extravagant expenses like company phone lines). Manish can also now talk trends and designers with the best of them. He freely dispenses home decorating advice and can spot a Marc Jacobs handbag a mile away. He's even considered buying his very own man-purse.

Prior to his much-cooler time at Kaboodle, Manish was the VP Marketing at Versant and part of the executive team at Versata that took the company public. Additionally, Manish has held R&D and Product Management roles at Sybase and Intel. In addition to the fashionista training he's pursued since joining Kaboodle, Manish has also taken a handful of college classes, earning a Bachelor of Technology from IIT Kanpur in India, an MS in Computer Science from UT Austin, and an MBA from Haas.

Keiron McCammon, Chief Technology Officer & co-Founder

There's never a dull moment for Keiron, who is responsible for managing all the great features that go into Kaboodle. He also works hard building the complex technology behind Kaboodle (like the "Add to Kaboodle" button) that makes it really simple to use. As if building the world's coolest shopping platform isn't exciting enough, Keiron also gets his adrenaline pumping through adventure sports like scuba diving, snowboarding and paragliding.

Before Kaboodle, Keiron was VP and CTO of Versant and also spent time working for Thomson and Siemens. Keiron has a BS in Computer Science from Exeter University in the UK, and co-authored the page turner, "Core Java Data Objects" published by Sun Microsystems and has given tutorials on Java, J2EE, EJB and JDO at a numerous technology conferences.

Although his background suggests he wouldn't be the most fascinating dinner party guest, you could be convinced otherwise if you check out his blog or his Kaboodle profile.

Chetan Pungaliya, Vice President, Engineering & co-founder

Chetan and the development team build all of the cool features that make Kaboodle what it is. They take the crazy ideas from Manish, and all of the good ideas from our users, and turn them into reality. He also ensures the site runs smoothly for our users. Chetan works all day with the development team here in the U.S., then goes home and logs on for the next several hours with the team in India. In other words, Chetan works a lot. Luckily, he has a great sense of humor and has built up his stamina competing in badminton tournaments (true story), so he can take it.

Before Kaboodle, Chetan was the Director of Engineering at OnVantage, where he built and managed a 50-person team of user experience, front-end and back-end developers. Chetan also worked at Versata and Media Way, both of which he joined as startups. He has a BE in Computer Science from University of Pune in India.

Alisa Menell, Director of Marketing

Alisa works with a fab marketing team to spread the word about Kaboodle, develop the community, blog and newsletter, and figure out which of Manish's many ideas our users would love the most. Alisa fell in love with Kaboodle after seeing Kaboodle at a conference in early 2006 and joined shortly thereafter. When she's not bribing the development team with freshly baked cookies, she enjoys learning piano, traveling, and of course - shopping. In fact, her only lament about working at Kaboodle is that she barely has time to actually be a Kaboodler!

Prior to Kaboodle, Alisa was an associate at Rustic Canyon Partners, an early-stage venture capital firm with over $1 billion under management. She also spent time in marketing at Savi Technology, and paid her early career dues at Goldman Sachs in New York where she helped raise several billion dollars for clients such as Sun Microsystems, HP and the Gap. She has a BS in Finance from Central Michigan University and an MBA in from UCLA Anderson.
