The days are long gone when a hat was a part of a gentleman's everyday existence. Nevertheless, if a gentleman feels comfortable in a hat, be it the familiar fedora to protect him from the chill of winter or a snappy boater to shield him from the heat of the sun, he wear it -- recognizing all the while that he is likely to be in the minority these days. He may come off either as an oddity or as the object of universal admiration -- the key is the gentleman's own self-confidence and personal style.-A Gentleman Gets Dressed Up by John Bridges and Bryan Curtis
Now dressing as a gentleman is all fine and well, but really, it's kind of boring. Now maybe this is all rooted in playing with my Mom's Barbie dolls as a kid, but didn't Barbie have such better outfits than Ken? One of the reasons Kaboodle appeals to me is I like to shop -- less for myself than for women's clothes (although I do happen to know that I'm a size 8). Unfortunately, my SO doesn't care very much for stylish clothes, so I'm left to shopping and talking about clothes with other women.
My website which rarely gets updated -- lately just dissertation stuff.
Picasa Photo Albums the interface (particularly for browsing) isn't as nice as Flickr, but I like the gmail integration.
On a mission to break people out of their little boxes (check out my Blogazine for details). Thanks to misee for leaving me 2/3rds of the work.
